Minco has only one other childcare provider—and they’re closing soon. We felt called to fill that gap by offering a place where families feel supported, not just serviced. Our wide-open space, real farm animals, and strong community values make us different. We teach through everyday moments, whether it's a muddy adventure or a kind word shared.

Meet Ms. Daniel

Hi, I’m Crystal, the founder of Lil’ Ranch Hands. I’ve worked with children for over 28 years, earned my degree in Child Development, and have also been a foster and adoptive parent. I opened this childcare center to give back to our community and raise kids with the same love and respect I give my own. I'm passionate about early learning, emotional growth, and raising kind little humans.

Meet Ms. Collins

I’ve spent the last 5 years working in childcare—and loving every minute of it. I’m also a mom of two, and when I’m not at Lil’ Ranch Hands, you can usually find me cheering them on at dance or on the field. My favorite part of this work is the bond I get to build with each child. Seeing their faces light up when I walk in the room reminds me why I do this. Every child leaves a mark on my heart, and I never forget them.

Meet Ms. Braunig

I’ve been working in childcare for 2 years now—something I never expected to love, but it turns out it’s the perfect fit for me. I love camping, fishing, and being outdoors, and I bring that same energy into the classroom. The kids I care for feel like my little best friends. I love them like they’re my own, and every day with them is full of laughs, hugs, and special moments I’ll never forget.

Meet Ms. Putnam

I’ve worked in childcare for 3 years and truly love what I do. I’m engaged to be married in September 2025, and when I’m not planning my wedding, I’m crafting or doing something fun with the kids. I love getting to bond with each child and help them grow. Watching them learn, explore, and become their own little person is the most rewarding part of my job.

Meet Ms. Putnam

I’m a mom of 7, a former foster parent, and I’ve always had a heart for caring for children. With a background in childcare and a child development certificate, I’m excited to be the substitute cook here at Lil’ Ranch Hands. I love cooking and baking homemade meals that feel just like home. I’m also a big fan of crafts and creativity—there’s always something fun happening when I’m around!

What ages do you accept at Lil' Ranch Hands?

We care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. Our program is designed to support early growth from babyhood to preschool age.

Are you licensed through the state of Oklahoma?

Yes! We are a licensed in-home childcare provider through DHS Oklahoma, meeting all safety, training, and health standards.

Do you offer part-time or drop-in care?

At this time, we offer full-time care only, Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

What makes your daycare different from others in Minco, OK?

Lil’ Ranch Hands is one-of-a-kind! We combine nature play, animal care, and homemade meals in a family-style environment that feels like home.

What does a typical day look like for my child?

Our schedule includes animal care, circle time, outdoor adventures, homemade meals, quiet rest, and creative play. Visit our Daily Routine page for full details.

What safety and training does your staff have?

All caregivers are CPR and First Aid certified, and our founder has 28 years of experience, a degree in child development, and trauma-informed care training.

Do you provide meals and snacks?

Yes! We serve breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack daily. Meals are made fresh and from scratch, with a focus on healthy, kid-friendly options.

How do I get updates about my child's day?

We use the Brightwheel app to share photos, messages, and updates about meals, naps, diaper changes, and more—in real time.

What do I need to bring for my child each day?

Parents should bring diapers, wipes, extra clothes, and any bottles or formula needed. We provide the rest—including the mess!

How do I enroll or schedule a tour?

Just fill out our contact form or give us a call. We’d love to show you around, answer questions, and welcome your child to the ranch!
